Winemaker dinners

Enjoy wine paired with exquisite dishes. Meet the winemaker.

Winemaker dinners are single seating events.  We typically host between 30 to 40 dinners each year. Each dinner is has a different focus and menu. If you don’t favor a menu, wait for the next; your bound to find a favorite the near future!

The dinners are typically four-to-six courses paired with four-to-six wines.  The menu is not variable because of the specificity and focus of the menu. Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate requests, but will do our best to accommodate special dietary needs, if we can and, if given advance notice.

The host for the evening is the winemaker, a sommelier or importer who will give a short presentation at the beginning of dinner and then speak about the specific wines being served with each course.  This is a social evening.

These dinners vary in cost depending on selected menu and wines.  Some winemaker dinners sell out quickly so make sure to RSVP at your earliest convenience.  Please visit our Calendar for a list of past and future dinners.

A TASTE OF TUSCANY with
GUISEPPE SALA & PASCAL OLHATS

A fully catered experience with a 5-course menu and wine pairing

A meal is not complete without wines to compliment the flavors, and indeed the heritage, of the food being served.

You know me thru my personalized French Cuisine but may not know that I am a big fan of Italian cuisine as it is regularly part of my cooking either for myself or for special events. Some of the iconic preparations were shared to me by a very good Italian home cook while visiting Italy.

I had the pleasure of meeting Giuseppe Sala of I Selvatici Winery in 2019, and he has graciously agreed to collaborate with me for these upcoming wine dinners “A TASTE OF TUSCANI”, where we will be carefully pairing each food course with his Tuscan wines to achieve the perfect balance.

Giuseppe was born on the same land where decades ago he worked alongside his father and grandfather in the vineyards tending and harvesting the fruit, and in the winery through all aspects of the wine-making. While university education complemented these early life lessons, it’s Giuseppe’s passion for his craft that has escalated I Selvatici’s reputation as one of the Chianti’s and Super Tuscan's top boutique producers www.iselvatici.it

We will be integrating each of his four different flagship wines in our menu planning, which will be based on traditional Tuscan foods and flavors of the season.

Giuseppe and I along with my catering staff will take care of this affair in either your own home or location of your choice.

We would like to serve dinner for parties of 12 to 20 guests.

I’m eager to introduce you to Giuseppe and look forward to seeing each of you at one of our wine dinners!
